She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Buss and Emma Buss (Kieckhafer); her husband Ernest M. Pahl (Jim); her siblings, Elmer Buss (Marlene), Gerhardt Buss (Margaret), Lawrence Buss (Jane), Ralph Buss (Carolyn) and Renata Krohn (Harold); and her nephew Roger Buss.

She is survived by: her sons, Lynn of Pierce and Layne (Kelly) of Bazile Mills; her grandson Austin (Sarah); and her great grandchildren, Bronson (Brenna) and Memphis of Bazile Mills.
