He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Fuchtman and Clara Fuchtman (Schula); his brothers, Lenny and Wally; his sons, Jim (Jody) of Creighton, Joe of Arlington, VA and Larry (Katie) of Gilbert, AZ; his wife Irene of Alpine Village; his daughter Kathy Becker (Tim) of Creighton; his grandchildren, Courtney Hanefeldt (Garrett) of Winnetoon, Brennan Becker (Katelyn) of Creighton, Clarissa Becker of Brookings, SD, Alex Taralson (Jordan) of Sioux Falls, SD, Ian Fuchtman of Creighton, Sloane Schulz (Joe) of Seward, Bailey, Emmett and Abigail Fuchtman of Gilbert, AZ; his great grandchildren, Maverick, Brooks, Charlotte, Easton, Caroline, Ace Joseph and Baby Taralson; his siblings-in-law, Theresa Fuchtman of Omaha, Stanley Kaminski of Dayton Ohio and Liz Ragatz of Sierra Vista, AZ; his brothers, Leonard, Walter, Willard "Slim", Edwin and Ray; and also, Frances, Edna Burns, Florence Hasenpflug, Sr., Kathleen and Margaret Focht. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
The family suggest memorials to be directed to Alpine Village of Verdigre, St. Ludger Elementary School of Creighton, or Santaland in Creighton.
