He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Abbenhaus and Anne Abbenhaus (Sueper); and his granddaughter Lexis Abbenhaus. He is survived by: his wife Kay Opkis; his children, Joe Abbenhaus (Andrea) of Bloomfield, Jeff Abbenhaus (Debbie) of Bloomfield and Traci Gall (Terry) of Basehor, Kansas; and his brothers, Bob Abbenhaus (Joanne) and Tom Abbenhaus (Tammy). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
