He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Wewel and Gail Wewel (Lutz); his daughter Jennifer Etheredge; and his sister Rudina Thayer. He is survived by: his wife Jeanette; his children, Van (Lori) of Gretna, NE, Mark (Beth) of Emerson, NE, Patty Houser (Jesse) of St. Paul, MN and John (Lindsay) of Elkhorn, NE; his son-in-law Scott Etheredge of Fortville, IN; and his siblings, Paul Wewel (Betty) of Lakewood, CO, Terese Ann Lech (Harry) of Taylor, NE, Kris Wewel of Burwell, NE, Ruth Masin of Billings, MT and Jean Logsdon (Tim) of Buckeye, AZ. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
