It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Veda Ann Raben (Crawford, Nebraska), who passed away on December 17, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellis Scholz and Hattie Scholz; and her grandson Lane Troester. She is survived by: her children, Alice Dubs (Paul) of Ashby, NE, Vicki Troester (Bruce) of Marsland, NE, Fred Raben (Julie) of Whitney, NE and Gregg Raben (Cathy) of Crawford, NE.; her husband Jim; and her sister Ruby Burkhalter of Colorado. She is also survived by four children and their spouses, twelve grandchildren, and 36 great grandchildren.
A Memorial has been established for the Ponderosa Villa and the Crawford Rescue Unit.
