He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Cockrell and Elise Cockrell; his brother Clayton Cockrell; and his son Danny Ray. He is survived by: his wife Dee; his children, Bruce Cockrell (Shelby), Jason Cockrell (Melinda) and Teresa McGinnis (Rich); and his siblings, Harriot Binger, Norma Palmer, Ruby Hugget (Gary), Evelyn Ost and Dennis. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial in lieu of flowers can be donated to Ponderosa Villa Auxiliary of Crawford, Nebraska or Home Health and Hospice.
