She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Hansen and Mary Hansen (Hagensen); her former husband Hans Schmahl; her husband Carrol Berg; her son Clark Berg; her stepson David Schmahl; her brothers, Jens Hansen and Delno Hansen; her brother-in-law Arnold Thomsen; her sister Merna Thomsen; and her cousin Clyde Larsen.
She is survived by: her children, Peter Berg (Peg), Cheryl Witt (Mike) and Paul Berg; her daughter-in-law Peggy Berg; her stepdaughter Shirlene Schwab (Dan); her grandchildren, Cody Berg (Vicky), Joshua Berg, Teresa Froman (CJ), Steven Witt (Justa), Anna Berg, Gunnar Berg, Abby Berg and Kellen Berg; and her stepgranddaughters, Stephanie Condon, Melissa Schwab, Helen Idzorak and Kate Idzorak. She is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
