He was predeceased by: his parents, Donna June Hamaker and James Quigley Phelps; his wife Virginia "Corky"; his stepfather William Blanton; his brother Robert Q.; his sister-in-law Edie; and his wife Mary.
He is survived by: his nephews, Jimmy and Rob Phelps.
