He was predeceased by: his parent Carl Jacob Lux; his grandmother Lucille Lux (Chitty); his wife Alice Lux; his stepfather Charls Ferguson; his sister Karlene; and his half-brothers, Ben Ferguson (Dale Lux) and Dale Lux.
He is survived by: his son Wayne Lux (Patti); his grandchildren, Bill and Molly; his children, Lynne Reeder (Mike) and Jack Lux; his granddaughters, Carrie, Kristina, Amelia and Tabitha; his daughter Geraldine Erickson (Matt); his grandchildren, Colin, Megan and Cody; his son Carl Lux (Sheila); his grandchildren, Taylor and Jacob; his son Tim Lux (Amanda); and his grandchildren, Kaiden and Brailyn. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
