We are sad to announce that on May 25, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Donna Ahrens in Crawford, Nebraska, born in Utica, Nebraska. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin George and Leona Geraldine Greenwood (Lebeck); her husband Herb; her daughter Lyla Gowin Whitehouse; her granddaughter Brittany Laura Koehn; and her siblings, Robert Greenwood of Bellwood, Betty Hemmingson of Denver, Dorothy Johnson of York and Ila Mae Greenwood of Utica.
She is survived by: her former husbands, Donald Francis Gowin and Herbert Erich Louie Ahrens; her daughters, Stephony, Louise Hitchcock (Dave) of Brighton, CO, Steph Reed (Rob) of Fremont, NE, Gretchen Lees (Jay) of Chadron, Heather Ahrens of Hay Springs, Vana Bannan (Tom) of Chadron and Robin Wilson (Loren) of Hay Springs; and her sister Helen Kriz (Bob) of Surprise, Arizona.. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in the honor of Hay Springs Volunteer Rescue and Fire Department. Donations may be made through Chamberlain Chapel.
