He was predeceased by: his brothers, Rick and Dr. William Stetson; his brothers-in-law, Melvin and Gaylen Douthit; and his daughter-in-law Stephanie Stetson.
He is survived by: his wife Gayle Stetson (Douthit); his children, Matt Stetson (Hannah) of North Platte and Nikki Krotz (Greg) of Chadron; his stepgrandson Isaiah Keepes of Belton; his brothers, Kenny, Brad Stetson of Chadron and Duane Stetson (Jeanine) of Omaha; and his siblings-in-law, Sandy Stetson, Anna Stetson of Chadron, Norma Cozad of Wood Lake, Shirley Douthit of Crawford, Lois Douthit of Fort Collins and Lonnie Douthit (Verona) of Crawford. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
