He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Ebeler and Alvera Ebeler (Bartels); his siblings, Lonnie Ebeler, Betty Workman (Bob) and Lois Eltiste; his siblings-in-law, Jean Ebeler and Robert McPherrin; and his parents-in-law, Scott and Mary Lucille Lovitt.
He is survived by: his wife E. Kay Ebeler of Crab Orchard; and his siblings, Ron Ebeler (Vera), Shirley McPherrin of Tecumseh, Wayne Eltiste of Tecumseh, Jay R. Lovitt (Ingrid) of Lincoln, Lou Ann Linehan of Elkhorn, Kevin Linehan of Omaha and Leon Lovitt (Wendy) of Elk Creek. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Wherry Mortuary (202 N 3rd St, Tecumseh, NE 68450). The military honors was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Vesta Cemetery. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Martin Luther Church (63002 725 Rd, Johnson, NE 68378). A burial was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Vesta Cemetery.
Memorials may go to the Martin Luther Church or the Avenue of Flags.
