It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Zelpha Mae Mason of Cozad, Nebraska, born in Callaway, Nebraska, who passed away on August 25, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Niles and Alberta Niles (Ogg); her husband Walter Mason; her brothers, George Niles and Ernest Niles; and her brother-in-law Steve Mattox.
She is survived by: her children, John Mason (Mary) of Bennington and Barbara Mason Cloeter of Lincoln; her grandchildren, Andrew Mason (Heather Joslin) of Omaha and Ryan Mason (Nicole) of Bennington; her great grandchildren, Peyton, Layla, Walker, Aaron Mason (Lizzie) of Omaha, Michaela Franco of Omaha, Brittany Cloeter of Lincoln and Rachel Cloeter of Omaha; and her siblings, Stella Mattox of North Platte, Charles Staton (Joanne) of Cozad and Jim Niles (Jill) of Grand Island. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
