It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon A Worm of Cozad, Nebraska, born in Lincoln, Nebraska, who passed away on August 24, 2022, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon A. Worm and Patricia Worm (Cappen); his siblings, Bill Hickerson, Steve Hickerson, Michael Worm and Linda Allen; and his stepmother Shirley Worm.
He is survived by: his wife Michelle Gutierrez of Cozad; his children, Kathy Kennedy of Fairbury, Mike Worm (Cheri) of Martel, Lori Green (Jeff) of Beatrice, Elizabeth Uriel (Mike) of Lincoln, Desiree Cabellos (Oscar) of Omaha, Dana Pike of Lexington and Broderick "Bubba" of Lexington; his grandchildren, Haylee, Kalob, Codie, Riley, Ryan, Zachery, Skylar, Payten, Shania, Trenton, Nathan, Annessa, Jocelyn, Gabriela, Rafeal, Adelina and Isaac; his great grandchildren, Liam, Conner, Kayden, Silloh and Bowen; and his siblings, Jerry Worm (Linda), Kenny Worm (Ginny), Leslie Worm (Jolene), John Worm (Diana), Patty Farber, Yvonne Castle, Nancy Mogee (Bill) and Amy Jo Worm. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
