She was predeceased by: her parents, Salvador Sanchez and Eva Floras; her grandson Joseph Campbell; her brothers, Tito and Salvador; and her siblings-in-law, Linda Sanchez and Karl Strohmyer.
She is survived by: her children, Andy Cañas of Gothenburg, Liz Luong (Tony) of Friend, NE, Charlie Cañas of Gothenburg and Jennifer Cañas (Keo Xoumponpackey) of Cozad; and her siblings, Margie Strohmyer of Cozad, Mary Trevino (Arthur), Linda Sanchez of Riverdale, NE, Trine Sanchez (Amelia) and Joe Sanchez. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.
