She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Dokken and Gladys Dokken (Davis); her parents-in-law, Fred and Ilene Gengenbach; her stepsiblings, Les Seyler, Dale Seyler and Kathleen Gifford; her nephew Leslie Seyler; her brothers-in-law, Doug Gengenbach and Larry Brown; and also Clem Seyler.
She is survived by: her husband Jim Gengenbach; her daughters, Jamie Petersen (Glen) of LeRoy, Illinois, Jill Ertan (Teo) of Omaha, Nebraska and Jacey Gengenbach of Omaha, Nebraska.; her grandchildren, Cheyenne Petersen, Logan Petersen, Tiana Ertan and Tristan Gengenbach; and her siblings-in-law, Kurt, Twyla Gengenbach, Galen Gengenbach, Dianne Brown, MeriKay Berg, Janese Gengenbach and Kay Seyler.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Berryman Funeral Home (620 E 22nd St, Cozad, NE 69130). A memorial service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the American Lutheran Church (200 E 12th St, Cozad, NE 69130).
Memorials are suggested to the family and will be designated at a later date.
