She was predeceased by: her parents, Orton Cooper and Milderene Cooper; her daughter Kathy Allen; and her brother Warren Cooper. She is survived by: her siblings, Clarence Cooper (Sherrel) of Cisne and Annie Hassinger of Decatur; her son Gary (Angela); her grandchildren, Maya (Troy Iske), Craig (Cherry Allen), Lani Allen and Colton Bryce; her great grandchildren, Liam and Nora Allen; and her friend Eunice Spradlin.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
