It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leland L. Steinkruger (Cozad, Nebraska), born in Franklin, Nebraska, who passed away on January 11, 2019, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings-in-law, Dallas Volk of Upland, Dick Dodson (Barb) of Holdrege and Mary Ann Dodson of Idaho; and his sister Hazel Volk. He is survived by: his wife Betty of Cozad; his daughters, Kayleen Schepker (Kelvin) of Upland and Jane Naslund (Kelly) of Cozad; his granddaughters, Miranda McQuiston (Ande) of Oxford and Alyssa Nielsen (Tyler) of Oxford; his great grandchild Ridge William McQuiston of Oxford; and his stepgrandson Jaxon Naslund of Holdrege. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
