The memory of Lee Joe Herrick of Cozad, Nebraska, who passed away on January 23, 2025 at the age of 77, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Herrick and Nora Herrick (Bradley); his brother Jerry Herrick; and his nephew Brad Herrick. He is survived by: his wife Alice Shepherd; his daughters, Sue Britt of Gothenburg and Angela Buesing (Matt) of Gothenburg; his grandchildren, Hali Oyler (Tom) of Cozad, Ashley Herrick of Gothenburg, Logan Cashman (Destinie) of Gothenburg, Tyler Buesing of Gothenburg, Kenya Buesing of Kearney and Xavier McBride of Gothenburg; his brother Louis Herrick (Diane) of North Platte; and his in-laws, Dave, Norma Greeley of Hershey, Wayne, Carol Shepherd of Broken Bow, Duane, Brenda Shepherd of Brady, Darlene Pierson of North Platte and Lorraine Herrick of Champion. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Berryman Funeral Home (620 E 22nd St, Cozad, NE 69130). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.
