He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Johnson and Beverly Johnson (Arent); and his in-laws, Lloyd and Jennie Rhinehart. He is survived by: his wife Janice Rhinehart of Cozad; his children, Brenda Stombaugh (Farren) of Cozad, Phyllis Johnson of Cozad, Rick Johnson (Stacie) of North Platte, Jennifer Schneider (Jason) of Cozad and Lacey Anderson (Allen) of Cozad; his sister Sharon Call (Larry) of Omaha; and his grandchildren, Jonathan Smith (Cassy), Heather Smith (Mark Neville), Christopher Smith, Jessica Tolle, Taryn Stombaugh, Trey Stombaugh (Alex), Kim Zwickl (Josh), Dillon Johnson (Crystal), Samantha Smith (Connor), Alyssa Klint, Gracie Schneider, Jayden Anderson and Landen Anderson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
