She was predeceased by: her parents, Lyle Waffensmith and Katherine Waffensmith (Pokorney); her husband Kenny Brass; her in-law Edward Brass (Ena); her sister Phyllis Markham (Jim); her son Scott; her brothers-in-law, Delmar Brass (Carol), Ron Brass (Genevive), Ed Brass (Nadene), Larry Brass and Lynn Strong; her nephew Robert Markham; and her pets, Stinker and Max.
She is survived by: her children, Dave Brass of Houston, Donny Brass (Nancy) of Kearney, Richard Brass of Broken Bow, Kathy Tillemans (John) of Broken Bow, Sheri Foster of Bertrand, Brad Brass (Robin) of Overton and Rhonda Barela (Chris) of Cozad; her grandchildren, Kenny, Ryan Brass, Tanner Brass, Michael Brass, Tera Conners (Leroy), Jay, Cooper, Lawrence Brass, Elizabeth Menzer (Talbot), Emma, Elli Foster, Jordan Albus, Tyler Brass, Slater Barela (Jayden) and Jake Barela; her great grandchildren, Kameron, Kaden, Kaleb, Kyler, Gianna, Jovani, Elliana and Emmorie; and her sister-in-law Barb Strong. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and good friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 21st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Reynolds-Love Funeral Home (106 W 8th St, Lexington, NE 68850). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 22nd 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, October 22nd 2024 at the Greenwood Cemetery (75662 County Rd 434, Lexington, NE 68850).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are kindly suggested to the family for a later designation.
