It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gordon L. Lindstedt of Cozad, Nebraska, born in Gothenburg, Nebraska, who passed away on November 9, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Conrad Lindstedt and Vernea Lindstedt (Nelson); his wife Babe; and his brother Trent Lindstedt. He is survived by: his children, Scott Lindstedt (Tracy) of Cozad and Paige Lindstedt of Lincoln; his sisters-in-law, Pam Lindstedt of Omaha, Marlene Geiger of Cozad and Lona Jensen of Cozad; and his grandchildren, Sydney Mapel (Jon) of Cozad, Jake Lindstedt of Lincoln, Colton Lindstedt-Sweeney and Johanna Gregory of Lincoln. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Berryman Funeral Home (620 E 22nd St, Cozad, NE 69130). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Cozad United Methodist Church (1515 B St, Cozad, NE 69130).
As a charter member of the Cozad Elks Lodge for 62 years, he was actively involved with the organization and the Elks National Foundation.
