It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Malcom of Cozad, Nebraska, born in Farnam, Nebraska, who passed away on May 13, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Thomalla and Belle Thomalla (Derra); and her brothers, Douglas, Gary and Bill.

She is survived by: her husband Larry Malcom; her child Billie Jo Schrad (Steven); her grandchildren, Sydney and Mallory Schrad of Omaha; her daughter Angela Fessler (Kurt); her grandchildren, Logan and Matthew Fessler of Lincoln; her son Tony Malcom (Norma); her grandchildren, Natalie and Westyn Malcom of Cozad; her child Jerry Malcom (Katie); her grandchildren, Carter of Avondale, AZ and Brooklyn Stewart (Logan) of Cedar Bluffs; her brothers, Mike Thomalla (Adrian) and Steve Thomalla (Kelly); and her sisters-in-law, Paula Pfister (Barry) and Rita Thomalla. She is also survived by many extended family and friends.
