He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Hilmer and Rebecca Hilmer (Tockey); his wife LaVonne Bose; and his siblings, Riley, Clara, Isabelle and Rhoda.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law LaVerne Verzal of Farwell; and his cousin Harold Bose of North Loup.
