John David Focken Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John David Focken of Cook, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 1, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Focken and Pearl Focken (Vlasak); and his brothers, Sam and Robert. He is survived by: his wife Maxine Hauptmeier; his children, Shelia (Rick) and Gerald (Julie); his grandchildren, Kobe Wilken and Henry Smith; and his siblings, Judi Schmidt, Joyce Blackwell, June Focken (Carol), Russell Focken and Rosalie Beliel (Andy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the North St. John Lutheran Cemetery.
A memorial has been established to the family for future designation.
