She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne Herold and Winifred Herold (Nicks); her sons, Timothy and Ronald Thomas; her grandchildren, Colleen Gerking and Derek Thomas; her siblings, Darla Stukenholtz, Romelle Copenhaver and Courtney Herold; her parents-in-law, Audrey and Howard Helms; and her brothers-in-law, Merlin, Don and Ross Helms.
She is survived by: her husband Terry L. Helms of Cook; her children, Sheryl Gardner (Gene), Kristine Gerking (Les) of Cook and David Thomas of Cook; her daughter-in-law Karen Thomas of Cook; her stepdaughter Kristy Adams (Alan) of LaVista; her siblings, Sunda Kay Doiel of Auburn, Gayle McMann of Auburn, Carter Herold (Dorothy) of Nebraska City and Mike Herold (Paula) of Rock Port, MO; and her brother-in-law Rick Helms (Laddie) of Auburn. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren.
