With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Darlene Knapp of Cook, Nebraska, born in McCook, Nebraska, who passed away on February 17, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Henry and Wilhelmina "Minnie" Mines Jr. (Aust); her spouse Bobbie Dean Knapp; her stepmother Edna Mines (Hall); her stepsiblings, Jack Hall and Shirley Martinez (Hall); and her sisters-in-law, Evelyn Huffer (Junior) and Lois "Mitzi" Chase.
She is survived by: her children, John Knapp (Diann) of Omaha, Cindy Neemann of Cook, Jinnohn Ninneman (Doug) of Denton and Bruce Knapp (Joy) of Omaha; her grandchildren, Tiona Dush (Tony), Jillian Witte (Brad), Shane Neemann (Candy), Kammy Meyer (Jason), Bobbie Rappl (Mark), Bryce Ninneman (Corina), Brandon Knapp (Jess), Cody Knapp (Tia) and Eleni Knapp (Karalina); her great grandchildren, Zane, Jaiden, Toran, Knox, Bode Dush of Madeline Witte, DDS, Elias Witte, Hannah, Max Neemann, Aiden, Dane, Isaac, Reid, Holton Meyer, Addalyn, Owen, Ella, Sophia, Olivia, Claire, Cecilia Rappl and Alder Knapp; and her brother-in-law David Chase. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
