We are sad to announce that on November 5, 2024, at the age of 74, Corinne Shanks of Comstock, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Corinne may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Shanks and Arline Shanks of Comstock, NE.. She is survived by: her siblings, Duane Shanks (Brenda) of Waynoka, OK and Rhonda Shanks McClure (Don) of Wahoo, NE. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and great nephews and nieces, and a host of neighbors and friends from the dog.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Govier Brothers Mortuary & Cremation (542 S 9th Ave, Broken Bow, NE 68822). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Douglas Grove Cemetery.
