He was predeceased by: his brother-in-law Steve Green. He is survived by: his wife Jean of Columbus; his daughters, Devon Hodges (Dustin) of Albuquerque, Shelley Roark of Columbus and Kim Mercer of Omaha; his grandchildren, Cole Roark (Megan), Morgan Swyers (Tommy), Rebecca Grant (Mark), Dalton Mercer, Lane Mercer, Dante Hodges and David Edward Hodges; and his siblings, Tom Jones (Janet), Sherry Green, Larry Jones (Samantha) and Palma Jack (Bill). He is also survived by 7 Great Grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers and plants, the family suggests memorials to St. Bonaventure Elementary School or to the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.
