With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roberta Saalfeld of Columbus, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 28, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Nielsen and Effie Nielsen (Cox); her husband Ronald Walter Saalfeld; her son Christopher John Saalfeld; her brother Edward; her sister-in-law Jolaine Nielsen; and her niece Laurie Nielsen-Singer.
She is survived by: her daughter Conny Anderson (Andy) of Omaha, Nebraska; her grandson Lloyd Anderson (AJ); her great grandchildren, Archer, Amelia, Claire and Alannah; her grandson Erik Anderson of Lincoln, Nebraska; her daughter Karin Leatherberry (Tom) of Billings, Montana; her granddaughters, Amanda Ludwick and Emily Ludwick (Keith Yeager) of Billings; her great grandchild Grayson; her grandchildren, Ian Thomas Leatherberry of Huntington Beach, California and Jeni Hunt (Scott) of Agness, Oregon; her great grandchildren, Wyatt and Josie; her grandson Aaron Leatherberry (Montana) of Red Lodge; her great grandchild Nancy; her cousins, Betty Gerodimos of Phoenix, Robert Nielsen (Shirley) of Brady and Nancy Erickson (Ron) of Missoula; and also Brandy Steiner (Joe) of Omaha.
