It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Mostek of Columbus, Nebraska, who passed away on February 22, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Robert departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Robert. Though Robert may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Mostek and Roma Mostek; and his brother Greg Mostek. He is survived by: his daughter Jade Mostek (Roberto); and his siblings, Peg Mostek and Lonnie Mostek (Geri).
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McKown Funeral Home (2922 13th St, Columbus, NE 68601).
