He is survived by: his stepdaughters, Jane Glaubius (Brozek) and Jean Mapes (Brozek) of Columbus, NE.; his grandchildren, Merle Mapes (Jess) of Kansas City, MO, Mackenzie "Mac" Mapes of Chicago, IL, Katie (Glaubius) and Pedder (Lee) of London; his great grandchild Quinn Pedder of London; and his nephews, Shannon Sutherland (Ann) of Lincoln, NE and Scott Sutherland of Osaka, Japan..
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Gass Haney Funeral Home (2109 14th St, Columbus, NE 68601). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Stanton Cemetery (83899 NE-57, Stanton, NE 68779).
