With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Rebecca Smith of Columbus, Nebraska, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Rebecca left this world on February 19, 2025 at the age of 68, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Brommer and Janet Brommer (Graham). She is survived by: her husband Steve Smith of Columbus, NE; her children, Bessie Smith of Lincoln, NE, Michael Smith of Beatrice, NE and Matthew Brommer of Beatrice, NE; and her brothers, Jeff Brommer of Iowa, Mark Brommer (Cheri) of Yankton, SD and Joe Brommer of Fairbury, NE. She is also survived by Nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Gass Haney Funeral Home (2109 14th St, Columbus, NE 68601). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
