He was predeceased by: his parents, George Alswager and Selma Alswager (Wetgen); his wife Luella Alswager; his sister Eleanor Mohrman (Allen); and his brothers-in-law, Leroy Kallweit and Donald Kallweit.
He is survived by: his children, Dayle Alswager (Francine) of Platte Center, NE, Merle Alswager (Donna) of Columbus, NE, Karen Kwapnioski (Kenneth) of Plattsmouth, NE and Kristi Walters (Bob) of Indianola, IA; and his sisters-in-law, Brenda Kallweit of Columbus, NE and Lenora Kallweit of Columbus, NE. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren 12 great grandchildren.
