With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Leon Otto Draeger of Columbus, Nebraska, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Leon leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Leon may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto W. Draeger and Lena F. Draeger (Staashelm); his wife Gayle Ellen Cathroe; and his siblings, Harold, Evan, Ferneen and Eleanor.
He is survived by: his children, Douglas Draeger of Osceola, Nedine Farnham of Columbus, Linda Pelan of Columbus and Dale Draeger of Osceola. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
