He was predeceased by: his parents, Grant Furbur and Lucille Furbur (Jones); his wife Marva Furbur; and his brother John Furbur. He is survived by: his stepchildren, Marvin Sidel (Jeanne) of Lincoln, NE, Marti Sidel (Teresa) of Hartford, SD, Marlys Sidel Sobota (Melissa Braun) of Blencoe, IA and Marci Romshek (Jeff) of Bellwood, NE. He is also survived by 11 step-grandchildren 22 step-great grandchildren 3 step-great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Gass Haney Funeral Home (2109 14th St, Columbus, NE 68601). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
