James Francis Eisenmenger Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Francis Eisenmenger of Columbus, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 22, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Eisenmenger and Cecelia "Cece" Eisenmenger (Brockhaus); his sister Lois Preister-Louis; and his siblings-in-law, Elvin Beierman (Colette), Jerry Beierman, Marilyn Beierman and Jane Hamling.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Eisenmenger of Columbus, NE; his children, Jerry Eisenmenger (Sandy) of Columbus, NE, Terri Eisenmenger-Wilshusen (Russ) of Lincoln, NE, Karen Carlson (Dwain) of Lincoln, NE, Joe Eisenmenger (Janet) of Humphrey, NE, John Eisenmenger of Humphrey, NE and Steve Eisenmenger of Mesa, AZ; and his siblings-in-law, Kathy Anderson (Dave), Pat Beierman, George Beierman (Betty) and Alvin Hamling (Alice). He is also survived by 11 Grandchildren 26 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM and on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Francis Catholic Church (203 S 5th St, Humphrey, NE 68642). A rosary will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Francis Catholic Church or St. Francis elementary school/Archangels High School.
