The memory of Gene Heule of Columbus, Nebraska, who passed away on January 15, 2025 at the age of 81, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Heule and Marjorie Heule (Kuhn); his wife Marilyn "Suzy" Heule; his sister Marilyn Coffey (Don); and his brother-in-law Del Jonas.
He is survived by: his son John Heule (Cody) of Columbus; his grandchildren, Addison, Callen and Landon; his son Tyler Heule; his grandchildren, Madilyn and Beckett; his stepdaughter Michelle Patocka (Russ) of Phoenix; his granddaughter Lola; his stepson Warren Sokol of Phoenix; and his sisters, Joyce Jonas of Omaha and Shirley Hughes (Frank) of Platte Center.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McKown Funeral Home (2922 13th St, Columbus, NE 68601). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
