With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Arlene V Wilke of Columbus, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 18, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolf Wurdeman and Bertha Wurdeman (Sander); her sister Velma; her husband Victor Wilke; her son Barry Wilke; her brother Don Wurdeman; and her grandson Chuck Pommier.
She is survived by: her daughters, Deb Wilke (Gene Iwen) of Columbus and Ginette Pommier (Pat) of St. Martinville, LA; her daughter-in-law Kay Wilke of Columbus; her grandchildren, Nick Wilke (Jen) of Waverly, NE, Natalie Hornung (Joe) of Columbus, Kirk Wilke (Melissa) of Lincoln, NE, Janessa Baudoin (Cory) of Loreauville, LA, Lucas Pommier (Lauren) of St. Martinville, LA. and Hal Pommier (Nikki Bourgeois) of Lafayette, LA.; her great grandchildren, Brecken, Owen Wilke, Hadley, Hudson Hornung, Caiden Baudoin, Cruz, Amalee, Vance Pommier, Damien Wylder (Eran), Maverick Wylder (Kennedy VanScoy), Sadie, Grant, Griffin and Peyton Pommier; her sister Norine Bydalek (Jerry); and her sisters-in-law, Marlene Wilke of Columbus and Corinne Wurdeman of Columbus.
In lieu of flowers, plaques or stones, the family has requested that memorials be given to Christ Lutheran Cornerstone Center.
