He was predeceased by: his wife Norma Murren; his parents, Thomas Murren and Bridget Murren; and his siblings-in-law, Joe Nanfito and Viola Nanfito.

He is survived by: his children, Tom Murren (Julie), John Murren (Jodi), Mike Murren (Vicki), Mary Murren and Patty Matson (Kevin). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
