She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Lensing and Anna Lensing (Gartner); her husband Jack Brandl; her sons, Donald and Rodney; her daughter-in-law Kathy Brandl (Kollars); and her siblings, Thomas and Deloris Wurdinger.

She is survived by: her children, Richard Brandl (Karen) of Shawnee, KS and Julie McDiarmid of Tempe, AZ; and her sisters, Betty Klanderud of Hartington, NE and Judy Hansen of Omaha, NE. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.
