Helen R. Ford Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen R. Ford of Cody, Nebraska, who passed away on February 27, 2025. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Helen R. Ford to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edson A. Gale and Jessie M. Gale (Eskew); her husband Finis Cooper Ford of St James; and her siblings, Edson Gale, Manota Tate, Ruby Lord and Jessie Wobig.
She is survived by: her children, Greg Ford (Tracee), Karen Ford, Gale Simmons (Rex), Mark Ford, Tony Ford and Steven Ford (Carrie); her sisters, Mabel Adamson, Wilma Andrews (Joe) and Beverly Dodson; and her sisters-in-law, Betty Ford-Cowden of Arkansas and Helen Massey Ford of Arkansas. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Sandoz Chapel of the Pines (90125 Hatchery Rd, Valentine, NE 69201).
Memorials may be made to Prairie Lawn Cemetery or Cowboy Grit for playground equipment.
