It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gale Ernest Rittscher of Clearwater, Nebraska, who passed away on May 14, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Rittscher and Creta Rittscher (Caubarrus); his brothers, Allan and Gordon; his brother-in-law Milton Kallhoff; and his grandson Andrew Kimmel.
He is survived by: his pet Husker; his wife Shirley; his children, Rhonda Kimmel (Jim) of Norfolk, NE, Renee Uldrich (Mike) of Fairmont, NE, Gay Deanne Funk (George) of Mesa, AZ and Jason Rittscher (Sarah) of Elgin, NE; his grandchildren, Nic Kimmel (Sarah), Jordon Uldrich, Chandler Uldrich (Sabrina), Rachelle Uldrich, Katie, Matthew, Sarah Funk, Ava, Sophie and Ian Rittscher; his great grandchildren, Gage Kimmel and Maeli Uldrich; his siblings, Ron Rittscher (Judy) of Gothenburg, NE and Sharalyn Wells (Rich) of Brunswick, NE; and his siblings-in-law, Alice Rittscher of Battle Creek, NE, Brenda Rittscher of Clearwater, NE, Lorraine Kallhoff of Omaha, NE, Jim Lyons (Helen) of Oakdale, NE and Bill Lyons (Alice) of Neligh, NE. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be directed to the family for later designation.
