It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ray Hinz (Clay Center, Nebraska), born in Nelson, Nebraska, who passed away on April 10, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldred John Carl and Evaline Marie Hinz (Horst). He is survived by: his wife Karen Kort of Clay Center, NE; his siblings, Glenn Hinz (Patty) of Hebron, NE, Lynn Hinz (Sharon) of Saratoga, WY, Dean Hinz (Keiko) of Lincoln, NE, Neal Hinz (Glenda) of Lincoln, NE, Dale Hinz (Heidi) of Maricopa, AZ and Marlene Cox (Byron) of Platte City, MO; and his sisters-in-law, Nola Glover of Hastings, NE and Letha Oxley (Richard) of Lincoln, NE. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.
While we acknowledge the importance for public gatherings to honor the lives of loved ones, the CDC believes control of such public gatherings is one of the most significant resources that may slow the spread and impact of this pandemic.
