It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia A. Veik of Clay Center, Nebraska, who passed away on December 3, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Preusser and Dolores Preusser (Schroeder); her husband Alvin Veik; her son Randy; her granddaughter Alicia Kerber; and her brother LaVerne Preusser.

She is survived by: her children, Gary of Aurora, CO, David (Kris) of Hastings, NE, Jamie of Chandler, AZ, Cheryl Kerber (Bill) of Willowbrook, IL, Cathy Kanost (Loren) of Lincoln, NE and Denise Swenson (Brian) of Hastings, NE; her daughter-in-law Lori Veik of Clay Center, NE; her sister Marlene Werner of Springfield, NE; and her sister-in-law Lois Preusser of Omaha, NE.. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Sunday, from noon until 4 p. m., at McLaughlin Funeral Chapel in Clay Center, NE. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family to be designated at a later date. With the continued spread of COVID-19, masks and social distancing are requested at all functions.
