She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Fred Ockinga and Mabel Ockinga (Davis); her husband John Burklund; her children, Laurie Mussman (David) of Omaha, NE, Kevin (Monica) of Lincoln, NE, Heidi of Lincoln, NE and Aaron (Irene) of Papillion; her grandchildren, Ian (Chloe), Ruby, Grace, Noah Mussman, Eva, Eli Burklund, Dara Wells (CJ) and Anne Furasek (Mike); her great grandchildren, Tatum, Jaelyn, Preston, Layla, Ben and Sam; her siblings, Jeanine Lovgren of Hastings, NE, Vic Ockinga (Nicki) of Hastings, NE and Gordon Ockinga (Marge) of Grand Island, NE; and her mothers-in-law, Glenda Ritterbush of Sheridan, WY, Elsie Burklund of Omaha, NE and Marilyn Burklund of Lincoln, NE. She was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
She passed into the arms of Jesus on November 17, 2021, from Covid-19 complications.
