We are sad to announce that on October 17, 2021, at the age of 97, Mildred D. Kounovsky of Clay Center, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Wright and Antonia Wright (Diez); her husband John L. Kounovsky; her stepmother Mary; her son Raymond; and her great grandchild James Ryan.

She is survived by: her children, Sandra, Larry Beach of O'Neill, NE, Jim and Lori Kounovsky of Plainview, NE; her daughter-in-law Sonia Kounovsky of Kearney, NE; and her sister-in-law Irene Sandoz of Verdigre, NE. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the family to be designated later.
