She was predeceased by: her parents, George Nye and Vera Nye (Herrick); her husband Arthur Vayle Hayes; her son Arthur Wade Hayes; and her siblings, Phyllis Woolen, Bill, Larry and Jim Nye.
She is survived by: her children, Gordon Hayes of Kenesaw, NE and Kim Aflague of Hastings, NE; her brother-in-law Bill Hayes (Marlys) of Doniphan, NE; and her grandchildren, Seth Arthur Aflague of Hastings, NE and Emily Katherine Aflague (Jack Buck) of Springfield, OR. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
