She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren Nelson and Dolores Nelson (Schmalken); and her grandparents, Willard, Esther Nelson, John and Agnes Schmalken.
She is survived by: her daughter Kenya Lannom (Shawn); her grandchildren, Christine Case, Zachary Case, Tristan Lannom and Anthony Nelson; and her siblings, Stephanie Fritz (David), John Nelson and Wes Nelson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the family's choice for future designation.
