He is survived by: his wife Brenda Nelson; his daughter Angela Arkfeld; his grandchildren, Sydney, Jaden and Ava; his son Brent; his daughter-in-law Kelly Novotny; his grandsons, Gavin and Garrett; his siblings, Garry Novotny (Janet), Ron Novotny (Shirley), Dean Novotny (Jackie), Janice Prewitt (Fred) and Diane Novotny; and his sisters-in-law, Janice Kucera (Roger) and Cindy Pekny (Frank). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and cousins.
